The shelter school has started 'with a bang' (to use Gresham's words) and the children are all happy. Part of the furniture has been renewed and new blackboards are now available.
Mrs Masangwale is now working with energy and effort.
The main challenge now is to select the right children who are truly less privileged. In order to do that, Gresham is working according to the tradition with the community leaders in order to identify the number of children which will make the community happy. The main goal is to show to the community that they truly are a part of the shelter and that the shelter is working for them.
Le attivitá dello shelter sono iniziate 'con grande fragore' (per utilizzare le parole di Gresham) e tutti i bambini sono felici. Parte dell'arredamento é stato rinnovato e ci sono anche 2 lavagne nuove.
Anche la sig.ra Masangwale si é messa al lavoro con energia ed impegno.
La sfida piú grande al momento é quella di selezionare quei bambini che sono realmente piú sfortunati. Per farlo, Gresham sta lavorando insieme ai capi della comunitá, come vuole la tradizione. Il loro scopo é quello di identificare qual é il numero di bambini da scegliere per soddisfare le esigenze dalla comunitá e dimostrare che lo shelter sta veramente lavorando per loro.
