Thanks to the generosity of one of our donors, last week we were able to send to Malawi some unexpected gifts. In particular, we sent 10.000 Kwa (approximately 50 euro) to Mrs Mwasangwale as a token of appreciation of the work done so far.
We were told that she was never given so much money in her life. She could not believe her eyes and as you can see in the photo she was all smiles.
Grazie alla generosità di uno dei nostri donatori, la settimana scorsa siamo riusciti a mandare in Malawi dei regali inaspettati. In particolare, abbiamo mandato 10.000 Kwa (circa 50 euro) a Mrs Mwasangwale come segno di apprezzamento del lavoro fatto fino ad ora allo shelter.
Ci hanno riferito che non aveva mai visto tanti soldi tutti insieme e che non poteva credere ai suoi occhi. Come potete vedere della foto la sorpresa è stata decisamente gradita.

- Pocket money / Soldi per ogni evenienza 400 Kwa.

We sent also 20.000 Kwa to be used to buy teaching material for the shelter. Also in this case the present was successful and the shopping too. In the photo below some of the items which were bought.
Abbiamo anche mandato 20.000 Kwa da usare per comprare materiale di studio per lo shelter. Anche in questo caso il regalo è stato decisamente apprezzato. Nella foto sotto alcuni degli oggetti che sono stati comprati.
After quite a long time, the children finally had some fun while learning. Gresham printed out some 'link the dots' exercises we sent. In this way the children can learn how to count or the alphabet and then color their creation.
Dopo molto tempo, i bambini si sono finalmente divertiti imparando. Gresham ha fatto stampare degli esercizi del tipo 'unisci i puntini' che gli avevamo mandato tempo fa. In questo modo i bambini posso imparare a contare o l' alfabeto e poi colorare le loro creazioni.
