The shelter
has been strong with your non stop help and donations. Reaching this point the
shelter is able to run smoothly without any excuses for we have all the
necessary materials at our disposal.
Lo shelter sta andando avanti molto bene grazie al vostro continuo aiuto e alle vostre donazioni. A questo punto lo shelter puó andare avanti senza intoppi o scuse poiché abbiamo tutto il materiale necessario a nostra disposizione.
Madam Mwasangwale has been motivated and
shows all her excitement by reporting for duties on time and most of the times
she stays well beyond knocking off time with some slow learners.
Madam Mwasangwale é molto motivata e mostra il suo entusiasmo arrivando tutti i giorni puntuale e rimanendo, se necessario, oltre l'orario regolamentare delle lezioni insieme agli alunni piú lenti.
Witness, Ramos and Malita are regularly at the shelter and are showing to their freinds that they are not at their respective schools for fun. They are answering almost all questions with eager and their english has greatly improved. They are also willing to help their friends with the tasks we do during the lessons. Unfortunately Joyce has attended the classes a bit less regularly, since she was down with malaria.
Witness, Ramos e Malita frequentano le lezioni dello shelter in modo regolare e stanno dimostrando ai loro amici che non vanno nelle loro rispettive scuole solo per divertirsi. Rispondono a tutte le domande con prontezza ed entusiasmo ed il loro inglese é decisamente migliorato. Sono anche disponibili ad aiutare i loro amici a svolgere i compiti che facciamo in classe.
Sfortunatamente Joyce non é stata ugualmente presente alle lezioni perché ha avuto la malaria.
The biggest rivelation is Malita. in her best mood she displayed her new skills to the amazement of Mrs Masangwale and the whole class: she could write and draw her things without any supervision. Even more surprisingly, even though she is not yet in Standard 1, she is able to do things that the shelter children of Standard 3 are not able to do.
La rivelazione piú grande comunque é Malita. Nel suo umore migliore ha dimostrato le sue nuove capacitá sotto gli occhi di una Mrs Mwasangwale sbalordita. E' in grado di scrivere e di fare i suoi compiti senza la supervisione di nessuno. Ancor piú sorprendentemente, anche se ancora non frequenta lo Standard 1, sa fare cose che i bambini dello shelter dello Standard 3 non sono in grado di fare.
