Joyce's mum went to visit Wukani to make sure that all the children are doing fine and are well settled again. Luckily all this was confirmed :)
Also Joyce started attending the lessons regularly again. We are now trying to understand whether her mum is one of the reasons upsetting her and preventing her from studying properly. In her last letter Joyce wrote us that her mum is planning to go to South Africa. Maybe she is afraid that she won't come back?? We are asking around, but don't know more. Certainly going to South Africa is a really big trip for someone from Nkhata Bay...
La mamma di Joyce é andata a Wukani per verificare con i suoi occhi che i bambini stessero bene e si fossero giá riabituati ai ritmi scolastici. Fortunamente cu ha potuto confermare tutto ció :)
Anche Joyce ha ricominciato a frequentare le lezioni in maniera regolare e stiamo ora cercando di capire se la mamma ha qualcosa a che fare con i suoi cambi di umore e comportamento. Nella sua ultima lettera Joyce ci ha scritto che la mamma vuole andare in Sud Africa. Forse Joyce ha paura che non torni? Stiamo chiedendo in giro, ma non sappiamo molto di piú per il momento. Sicuramente per una persona di Nlhata Bay, andare in Sud Africa non é certo una cosa da poco...
