Marajowi decided to pick up a new challenge. As you may remember some time ago Frighton (who helps Lerapie sending information from Malita and Bandawe) sent us the profiles of 4 possible kids who needed support. Thanks to the support of the RA ladies from DSP, we decided to try and help Katie. Katie is a 6 year old girl who was abandoned by her mum and now lives with her aunt. Like in many other families in Malawi however the funds are not sufficient to take proper care of the numerous children. As a consequence, very often Katie instead of going to school, helps her aunt to produce terracotta bricks and earn her own living. With the help of Frighton, Marajowi will pass to Katie the equivalent of 25 €/month. With this money we hope to improve her living conditions. In April we will start with buying some learning material for her.
Of course we will keep on monitoring the situation carefully to make sure that things go as planned and we will keep informing you on the developments.
Marajowi ha deciso di affrontare una nuova sfida. Come forse vi ricordate, qualche tempo fa Frighton (la persona che aiuta Lerapie a mandarci informazioni su Bandawe e su Malita) ci ha mandato il profilo di 4 bambini che avrebbero bisogno del nostro aiuto. Grazie al supporto delle ' RA ladies' della DSP, abbiamo deciso di aiutare Katie. Katie è una bimba di 6 anni che è stata abbandonata da sua mamma e ora vive con la zia. Come tante famiglie in Malawi, la zia non ha risorse sufficienti per mantenere l'intera famiglia e di conseguenza, invece di andare a scuola, Katie spesso va a fabbricare mattoni di terracotta con la zia per guadagnarsi da vivere. Con l'aiuto di Frighton, Marajowi darà a Katie l'equivalente di 25 €/mese. Con questi soldi speriamo di migliorare le sue condizioni di vita. Cominceremo ad Aprile comprando del materiale scolastico.
Ovviamente ci assicureremo che tutto proceda nel migliore dei modi e vi informeremo su tutti gli sviluppi.
