On the 27th may all the children of the shelter and Malita travelled to the Coca Cola company and went to visit their friends in the Wukani school in Mzuzu. Mzuzu is only 47km from Nkhata Bay, a distance some of the kids had hardly travelled before and also for this it was a unique experience.Lo scorso 27 maggio i bimbi sono andati a visitare la fabbrica della Coca Cola a Mzuzu e poi a trovare i loro amici alla Wukani School. Mzuzu si trova a soli 47km da Nkhata Bay, una distanza enorme per i locali privi di mezzi di locomozione. I bambini sono rimasti entusiasti della gita.
The kids were shown around the factory, each processing step was explained and they could see the water treatment plant and the filling station among others.
Nel corso della visita guidata hanno potuto vedere le varie fasi di produzione, come ad esempio l'impianto di purificazione dell'acqua e l'imbottigliamento.
At the end they were offered a drink they could enjoy in the sun.
Alla fine del percorso é stata regalata loro una bibita che si sono goduti al sole.
Afterwards they went to visit their friends Ramos, Joyce and Witness and the Wukani School. There is a big playground there and we were told the shelter kids invaded it with their laughter and play in no time, leaving the 'local' kids a bit puzzled.
Dopo pranzo sono tutti andati a trovare Ramos, Witness e Joyce alla Wukani School. Arrivati a destinazione hanno rapidamente invaso il cortile della scuola con i loro giochi e le loro risate, lasciando i bambini 'locali' meravigliati da tanto entusiasmo.
After a group photo it was time to go back to Nkhata Bay...
