In order to improve Malita’s quality of life at Bandawe school, we go shopping for different items. Some of them, like the mosquito net, sugar, rice, powder milk, vitamin porridge, we can buy in Nkhata Bay, but we need to go back to Mzuzu to find a mattress, some mineral rich baby food and some snacks. Since we bought mosquito nets also for Ramos, Witness and Joyce, we decide to go and quickly give them to them. With this excuse we also check whether they have already been given the uniform. Since that is not the case, we arrange it together with Joyce’s teacher and we take a last shot with the kids really happy to see us again, even if for just 5 min. Since tomorrow it is Ramos’s birthday we also buy a ball for him, but we leave that in his dormitory and tell him to check for his surprise at the end of the lessons. He has no idea that tomorrow it is his birthday and does not really understand why we want to gift him on that day, but he is very intrigued at the idea of the surprise. This time it is an happy goodbye!
Nel tentativo di migliorare la qualità della vita di Malita a Bandawe, le compriamo molte cose. Possiamo comprare alcune di queste, come la zanzariera, lo zucchero, il latte in polvere, un porridge vitaminico, a Nkhata Bay, ma dobbiamo tornare a Mzuzu per trovare un materasso, degli omogenizzati ed alcuni snacks. Visto che abbiamo una zanzariera anche per Ramos, Witness e Joyce, decidiamo di fare un salto alla scuola per portargliela e per controllare che siano state date loro le nuove uniformi. Non è stato ancora fatto, ma con l’aiuto dell’insegnante di Joyce le otteniamo immediatamente. I bimbi sono molto felici di vederci anche se per soli 5 min. Tra l’altro poichè domani è il compleanno di Ramos gli abbiamo comprato un pallone che però abbiamo lasciato nel suo dormitorio. Ramos non ha idea del fatto che domani sia il suo compleanno e non sembra neanche capire bene la ragione per cui vogliamo fargli un regalo in quel giorno, ma è intrigato dall’idea della sorpresa. Questa volta i saluti sono più che sorridenti!
