During the Christmas period many companies organize a lunch, a dinner or other joyful events for their employees.
Apotex Nederland BV, a generic pharmaceutical company located in Leiden, the Netherlands (http://www.apotex.com/nl/en/), always uses this occasion to donate something to a charity organization. This year, thanks to the ability of Federica, Marajowi was selected as the lucky project.
Federica and other colleagues took quite some effort to write an article on the company newspaper and explained the mission of Marajowi. They also set up a beautiful Christmas tree with the photos of our Malawian little friends. Donation boxes were placed at the reception of the two different sites of the company. Last but not least, they are going to collect money during the Christmas lunch on the 20th december.
All the money will be used to cover the expenses of the school of Malita, Ramos, Joyce and Witness. We still do not know how much they are going to collect, but whatever amount is going to make a real difference in the lives of these children. We will publish on this site how the money are going to be spent exactly. Thanks so much to all the Apotex contributors!!!!
Nel periodo natalizio molte compagnie organizzano pranzi, cene o altri eventi per festeggiare con i loro impiegati.
La Apotex Nederland BV, una compagnia di farmaci generici (http://www.apotex.com/nl/en/) con sede a Leiden, in Olanda, coglie ogni anno questa occasione anche per fare della beneficenza. Quest'anno, grazie a Federica, Marajowi è stato selezionato come beneficiario di questa iniziativa.
Federica e le sue colleghe hanno speso molte energie ad organizzare l'evento. Hanno pubblicato un articolo per il giornalino della compagnia per spiegare la missione di Marajowi; hanno decorato un albero di Natale con le foto dei nostri piccoli amici malawiani; hanno messo salvadanai per raccogliere le donazioni nella portineria della loro azienda; raccoglieranno ulteriori fondi durante il pranzo di Natale organizzato per il 20 dicembre.
Tutto il denaro verrà utilizzato per provvedere alle spese scolastiche di Malita, Ramos, Joyce e Witness. Non sappiamo ancora quanti soldi verranno raccolti, ma siamo sicuri che faranno la differenza nella vita di questi bimbi. Pubblicheremo su questo blog le specifiche di come verranno spesi i soldi esattamente. Nel frattempo ringraziamo con affetto tutti i donatori della Apotex!!!
