The new shelter school is basically ready.
The next steps are going to be:
- hiring a guardian who makes sure that the school and all what is inside are not ruined or robbed;- buying the furniture (chairs, desks, lockers) for the class (to do that we are waiting for a donation from Spain);
- receive all the laptops donated last February. We waited a while with that, to be sure we had a safe place where to store them.
Once the laptops are there, Gresham will have a computer again and we will see picture flying in!
- organizing a grand opening event (Gresham is already taking care of that).
Il nuovo shelter e' quasi pronto.
I prossimi passi saranno:
- assumere un guardiano che si assicuri che le infrastrutture della scuola non vengano danneggiate e che non venga rubato niente;
- comprare dei mobili (banchi, sedie ed armadietti) per la classe (stiamo aspettando di ricevere una donazione dalla Spagna a questo scopo);
- spedire tutti i computer portatili che ci sono stati donati lo scorso inverno. Abbiamo aspettato a spedirli per essere certi di avere un luogo sicuro dove tenerli.
Una volta che avra' un computer nuovo, Gresham potra' finalmente mandarci tante nuove foto!
- organizzare l' inaugurazione della nuova scuola (Gresham ci sta gia' pensando).
