Rhoda and Jeritah, 7 and 9 year old
respectively, are two of the seven children of the same mother. Two years ago,
their father was stabbed to death and their life became extremely miserable.
After some time also their mother abandoned them to follow her new husband. As
a consequence of all this, Jeritah, Rhoda and their other siblings now live
with their grandfather, Mr Kaira, a man too old to manage this responsibility.
Mr Kaira does not manage to keep these children under control, nor to provide
them with the food and clothes they would neeed. Jeritah and Rhoda dropped
school already at a very young age. Hearing that two of his children had been
selected by Marajowi was a great surprise to Mr Kaira who compared Freighton to
an angel giving him another chance in life.
Rhoda e Jeritah, due bimbe rispettivamente di 7 e 9 anni, sono due dei sette figli della stessa madre. Due anni fa loro padre è stato pugnalato a morte e, da quel momento, la loro vita è diventata così miserabile che anche la loro mamma le ha abbandonate per seguire il suo nuovo marito. Da quel momento Rhoda, Jeritah e gli altri fratelli vivono con il nonno, il sig. Kaira, che però è troppo vecchio per prendersi cura di loro. Il signor Kaira non riesce a controllarli, nè a procurargli sufficiente cibo o vestiti. Il risultato di tutto ciòè che Rhoda e Jeritah hanno abbandonato la scuola molto piccole. Quando ha sentito che due delle sue nipoti erano state selezionate da Marajowi, Mr Kaira è stato colto di sorpresa e ha paragonato Freighton ad un angelo venuto a dargli un'altra possibilità nella vita.
