It is the rainy season in Malawi and in the past days some heavy rains fell on Nkhata Bay. Different sources (i.e. Lerapie, Peter from the blind school and Mrs Phiri) informed us that the house of Malita's mum collapsed completely. There is not much left of it as you can see from the pictures.
For the moment she found shelter at her brother's place, but that is also leaking and with some cracks. As a consequence she is asking for help...
E' la stagione delle piogge in Malawi ed ultimamente è caduta molta pioggia su Nkhata Bay. Putroppo abbiamo saputo da diverse fonti (es. Lerapie, Peter della scuola dei non vedenti e Mrs Phiri) che la casa della mamma di Malita è caduta letteralmente a pezzi. E' ormai impossibile viverci, come vedete dalle foto, e così per il momento ha trovato riparo a casa del fratello, una casa che comunque ha il tetto che perde. Ovviamente la mamma di Malita si è rivolta a noi in cerca di aiuto.
