First money for the poultry project...I primi fondi per il pollaio
Thanks to Stichting Marajowi the students also
get to eat meat once per week and drink milk three times per week. The school headmaster however does not feel
too comfortable with this arrangement since they are totally dependent on
Marajowi. They would like to be able to set up a system which makes them
self-sufficient even if Marajowi is no longer there. For this reason they asked
support to buy a special breed of chickens who mature particularly fast. If
they have them they will be able to teach the students how to take care of
poultry and at the same time have enough meat all year around. The first money for this project came just in. Thanks a lot to the H2 soccer team of ZVV Groenoord.

Il preside comunque non si sente a suo agio per il fatto che dipende completamente da Marajowi per tutto ciò. Vorrebbe trovare il modo per rendere la scuola auto-sufficiente anche su questo punto. Vorrebbe comprare una razza speciale di polli che maturano molto velocemente. In questo modo, gli studenti potrebbero imparare come prendersi cura di un pollaio, ma anche avere carne a sufficienza per tutto l'anno. Grazie alla squadra di calcio H2 di ZVV Groenoord sono arrivati i primi fondi per realizzare ciò.
