Do you still remember our fundraising event 'the ladies' run' in Utrecht? An enormous thanks to all those who contributed: we managed to raise 831 EUR!!
Vi ricordate ancora l'evento che abbiamo organizzato ad Utrecht per la corsa femminile? Un ringraziamento enorme a tutti coloro che hanno contribuito: siamo riusciti a mettere insieme 831 EUR!
A big portion of these money has been added to a previous donation from H2 football team at ZVV Groenoord. The resulting 660EUR will be used to start a poultry at Bandawe School for the Hearing impaired. Using a particular breed of chickens the school will then manage to be self-sufficient for meat.
When hearing the news everyone was extremely excited. The students started immediately producing the bricks which will be needed. Now that the school is closed they are drying so that the construction work will start immediately in September.
La maggior parte di questi soldi è stata unita ad una donazione precedente da parte della squadra di calcetto H2 di ZVV Groenoord. I 660 EUR così ottenuti verranno dati alla Bandawe School for the Hearing Impaired per iniziare e mantenere un pollaio e diventare così indipendenti in termini di disponibilità di carne.
Gli studenti ed il corpo insegnante sono stati così felici nel ricevere la notizia che hanno immediatamente cominiciato a produrre i mattoni che serviranno a costruire le mura del pollaio. Ora la scuola è chiusa e i mattoni si stanno asciugando così da essere pronti per i lavori quando le lezioni ricominceranno a settembre.
The remaining part of the money will be added to donations from old friends of Marajowi. In September we will manage to reach another milestone. Katie will join the Wukani Education Facility. Upon hearing the news she was super excited.
La parte rimanente dei fondi è stata aggiunta ad altri già ricevuti e ci permetterà di raggiungere un nuovo traguardo: da settembre Katie andrà alla Wukani Education Facility. La notizia l'ha resa molto felice!
